Ideal for family gatherings, at parties or on holiday: With the face recognition function, you can set "preferences" for certain people when taking a photo. The function can save up to 6 faces. Once recognized, these faces are given priority in the photo and brought into focus optimally.
Take a snapshot using recorded and edited face data
After the face data has been recorded and edited, it can be applied when taking a picture. When taking photos, the camera takes the priority levels into account which you have set for the relevant face data.
Step 3: JUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS
Select a picture mode.
" Face recognition: Family first" and press [SET].
Point the camera at your subject.
The camera detects the faces saved in the memory. When the faces have been detected, they are displayed in a frame.
• The frames are colour-coded according to the priority level allocated to the face: white (lowest level), yellow, or green (highest level). A green frame denotes the face with the highest priority in the photo.
Press the release button half way down.
The camera then focuses the picture on the face with the highest priority (the face inside the green frame) and adjusts the brightness. When focus setting is complete, a green focus frame appears around the faces, which were displayed in a green frame in Step 4.
When you are ready to take the picture, press the release button down fully.
